It wouldn't be an LDS board without an area for scrapbooking. Let's hear about your scrapping experiences, good and bad, and you can even upload scans of your favourite pages. (If you do this I'd recommend www.imageshack.com as they give you a code for a thumbnail of your picture, rather than posting the entire page here.)

I used to teach scrapbooking but haven't scrapbooked for a couple of years now. My desk awaits me not to mention the enormous pile of photos that has been accumulating. Maybe 2006 .....

Yes I need to do some serious sorting and organising before I can get back to actually scrapping. *sigh*

I've never gotten in to scrap booking but I used to keep my photo collection immaculately organised. Several years ago I got a digital camera and that's actually made me a lot less organised. I take loads of photos and then they sit on the computer and nothing ever happens with them except for the occasional viewing when family come over.
I just bought myself an expensive SLR digital camera and ot's motivated me not only to take better photos, but also to actually print out the ones I've already got and organise them in albums the way I always used to.

Digital cameras are fantastic though aren't they? I could never go back to my traditional camera. I must admit, that I am a lot slacker in organising the photos now and getting them developed. When I am in Adelaide I take a CD of photos in to Big W and get them processed at .20 print, which isn't too bad. I still have many more yet to do this with though.
I love the fact with digital that you can manipulate the images, cropping out unwanted things, getting rid of red eye, etc. etc. before you get them developed. When I used my old camera, half of the photos that were developed were duds.
