Hi,
I'm visiting Brisbane in late March (from Canada) - tried the lds.org web site to find a church building in Brisbane, and found its next to useless, unless you already know the area. I understand there are 3 stakes in Brisane, and lds.org doesn't given me any information but the location of the mission home.
I'm actually staying in Twin Watters, about 100 km north of Brisbane, but have to fly from Brisbane to Cairns on Monday, March 31, so would be in Brisbane on Saturday night and Sunday, March 29/30.
Can anyone recommend a church building to attend, either near the Brisbane airport, or in the northern part of Brisbane, somewhere?
Thanks,
GeoEng51

I'm not from queensland but the australian white pages are usually pretty good. Go to whitepages.com.au. Search for 'latter day saints' from the business category (the other options are business and residential). It will probably tell you there are multiple matches and then ask you to select a region. You'll then be able to select brisbane to get a listing of all the chapels and it should include contact details for the mission as well.

Steve,
Thanks for your suggestion. I did eventually (not sure how) figure out that there is an Australian LDS site:
www.lds.org.au
And the link to the Meetinghouse Locator there was more helpful than in the general lds.org site.
Looking forward to the trip to Brisbane (and Cairns).
Cheers......John
